Verdant Commercial Capital, LLC (“Company”) is searching for an attorney to be part of an experienced team of finance professionals that is a significant and growing player in the commercial finance industry.

 

Position: Reporting to the General Counsel, the Senior Counsel will be engaged in all aspects of the legal affairs of the Company and its affiliates involving commercial contracts, finance, regulatory/compliance, real estate, and litigation matters.   Duties will include drafting and negotiation of agreements; providing legal guidance to sales, operations, and risk teams; maintaining compliance with relevant regulatory and licensing requirements; and overseeing enforcement of contracts.  Senior Counsel will support the Legal Department in providing high quality, cost effective, and practical legal services to the Company.

Experience:  The successful candidate will have 2 – 5 years of law firm and/or in-house experience.  Preference will be given to candidates with a background in commercial law, including a familiarity in transactional, finance, UCC, compliance, regulatory, and litigation matters. 

 

Compensation:  Commensurate with experience.
