The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) is someone that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. As an ARM, you will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and volume growth objectives.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and requirements through conversations with sales team, data mining, and industry publications
- Submit complete and thorough credit applications
- Follow up with customers for missing application materials, credit questions, and required contract documentation
- Maintain information as well as forecasting data within internal systems
- Work effectively with all internal functional groups to facilitate and expedite communications with vendor partners and customers
- Assist sales with providing quotes to vendor partners
- Assist in gathering background information on original equipment manufacturers and their sales channel for potential new programs
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed
- Proven inside sales experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
Preferred Knowledge Skills
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Experience working with Excel and PowerPoint
- Customer focused
Initially, the role will be a job shadowing and support role with the potential to evolve into a sales role with increased responsibilities.
The ARM will work under close supervision of the sales team and Chief Commercial Officer. As experience and knowledge are developed and proven over time, the ARM is expected to work independently.
Some travel is expected to industry trade shows and vendor partner meetings throughout the US.
