Job Summary:
Pioneer Military Credit (PMC), a provider of personal lending products for military personnel, is seeking an experienced Data and Reporting Analyst to play a lead role in developing, maintaining, and QA’ing all standard reports for internal and external parties. Additionally, PMC is looking for a reporting professional who can immerse themselves in our business, to assist with ad hoc reporting and other special projects with internal teams, as well as external partners. The position will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.
General Job Description:
- Will be the data leader for the organization
- Oversees all reporting needs for internal business units, as well as external partners. These duties include:
Developing Reports, as needed
Producing internal and partner-facing reports on schedule
Quality control all report elements
- Develop Report Request template, that can standardize reporting requirements
- Conducts the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions
- Monitors ongoing data feeds and performs analysis and investigations on data quality issues
- Prepares data requests for internal teams, and external partners, tailored to each project and anticipating the data required to produce the expected deliverables
- Assist with the establishment of dashboard, reports, and ad hoc analysis (Salesforce, Power BI, and Tableau reporting).
- Analyzes quality results and suggest solutions to more advanced problems
- Participates in the development of process improvement solutions
- Coordinates multiple data/reporting development projects across business to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner
- Drives and informs internal discussions related to PMC business performance and gathers data requirements as they relate to marketing, lending, and servicing – to better progress reporting and visualization.
- Uses approved products and tools to monitor status of projects and initiatives
- Monitors project execution and drives projects to a conclusion
- Performs special projects upon request
- Supports and participates in the design and delivery of client and staff member training and coaching related to reporting tools
- Understands how data integrates between all system and identifies opportunities for greater efficiencies and revenue generation across business units
Education/Experience:
- 5+ years of work experience in data reporting and analytics
- Prior management experience required
- Bachelor’s degree
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Azure database management
- Salesforce knowledge
- Experiencing using Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
- Financial services/products knowledge
