Program Coordinator, St. Paul - $1,500 signing bonus

(Work 2 days in office and 3 days Remote in Minneapolis-St. Paul Area)

Founders First Capital Partners (FFCP), a small business accelerator, providing mentorship and flexible loans to companies run by diverse leaders, is looking for a detailed-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team!

As a member of the FFCP team, the ideal candidate will be responsible in aiding us in coordinating and delivering accelerator programs to talented entrepreneurs, enabling them to create premium-wage jobs and helping close the wealth gap that minority-owned businesses face.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, have excellent communication skills and most importantly, be comfortable operating independently as this role will be a primarily remote role. This position will also provide backup support to the other regional coordinators.

The responsibilities for this role include:

  • Coordinating and managing the assigned accelerator program

  • Overseeing accelerator program logistics and the educational sessions including the orientation and onboarding sessions.

  • Supporting facilitators/coaches and subject matter experts; scheduling program sessions and maintaining open communication.

  • Coordinating program pitch day events by organizing all logistics and activities, including working with vendors, volunteers and speakers.

  • Reviewing and organizing regional grant applications, including fielding questions and following up with grant applicants.

  • Maintaining program participant data, ensuring all data is input and/or uploaded to our CRM.

  • Advancing the operations of FFCP by developing and maintaining effective management of our information in SalesForce

  • Assisting with developing and maintaining strong customer service relationships with program participants, facilitators, coaches, and subject matter experts.

  • Collaborating with other FFCP department heads and team members.

  • Contributing to the work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, development of skills that engage and encourage those from diverse communities and cultures, or backgrounds.

  • Remaining competent and current through self-directed professional reading, attending professional development courses, and attending webinars/conferences/courses/training.

  • Contributing to the overall success of FFCP and other duties as assigned.

  • Ok with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities

Education:

  • A Bachelor of Business Administration degree or related discipline.

Experience:

  • Prior experience working as a program assistant or coordinator in a relevant field

  • Prior experience coordinating special events

  • Experienced in working with SalesForce, email, text, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive internet, and social media

Salary: $50,000 to $65,000 and $1,500 signing bonus + potential annual bonuses, access to benefits including Health, Vision, Dental, 401k and stock options


Work Location: Work 2 days in office and 3 days Remote in Minneapolis-St. Paul Area
