The Marketing Manager will assist the marketing team with meeting its brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including social media, email marketing, branding, webinars, website maintenance, and lead nurturing. The Marketing Manager must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

 

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 with a signing bonus of $2,000

Founders First Capital Partners, Inc provides funding and business growth advisory support to diverse founder led small businesses. We provide revenue-based funding and business acceleration support to service-based small businesses located outside of major capital markets such as Silicon Valley and New York City. We focus on supporting businesses led by women, people of color, and military veterans, inclusive teams, and businesses located in low to moderate-income areas.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.

  • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.

  • Build and manage a rich content/editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including blog posts, pitch events, eBooks, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.).

  • Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.

  • Manage various email campaigns, including the template designs, calls-to-action, and content used in our email sends.

  • Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, form fills, etc.).

  • Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into customers.

  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through various platforms.

  • Develop and disseminate meaningful promotional information to partners for re-sharing.

Qualifications Needed for Success

  • 3-5 years of general marketing experience

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.

  • Proficiency in email marketing, social media, website management and marketing automation technology (HubSpot required)

  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form).

  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, adaptability, and commitment.

  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation, inbound marketing, and blogging.
