Production - Quality Associate

The Production Quality Associate will help review and maintain assigned elements of quality associated with production operations/shipping, workmanship standards, procedures and documentation used to validate compliance.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

·         Conduct a variety of quality checks, throughout the day, as assigned, across a variety of functional areas to support manufacturing, production, and shipping operations.

·         Review sales orders, sales receipts, invoices, and shipping documents for compliance to order requirements.

·         Excellent attention to detail and time management skills is a must.

·         Excellent visual acuity required.

·         Preparing and documenting procedures.

·         People oriented – enjoys interacting with people and participating in quality and continuous improvement projects.

·         Approaches quality as an extension of the production operations and not a policing role.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Perform a wide variety of tasks simultaneously.

·         Adaptable/flexible - enjoys doing work that may require frequent shifts in direction.

·         Work effectively and efficiently with minimal direct supervision.

·         High stress tolerance - thrives in a high-pressure environment.

·         Ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours a day.

·         Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50lbs.

·         Help to support and perform production work as needed.

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate - 2 years college/vocational education and/or certificate in quality preferred but not required. Relevant quality experience working in a manufacturing/production environment may be considered in lieu of the minimum educational requirements.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Quality experience preferred but not required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Estimated shift times: 1st shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Ability to work full-time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday and have the flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays when necessary.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus but not required.
