**REMOTE POSITION**

The Senior Manager, Portfolio Management owns day-to-day administration and performance oversight of Vesper Energy’s corporate and project level financing facilities, including debt, tax equity, and corporate line of credit facilities as applicable. This role is accountable for compliance and covenant reporting, draw and funding execution support, relationship management with lenders and tax equity investors, and timely resolution of financing administration issues that impact liquidity, schedule, and risk. The role partners closely with Finance and Accounting, Legal, Project Development, and external counterparties to ensure financings are administered accurately, consistently, and in alignment with governing documents.  Senior Manager position will report to VP, Controller and Treasurer.

Role Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field required.  MBA and or CFA preferred.

Years of Experience: 8 plus years of progressive experience in project finance, structured finance, portfolio management, asset management finance, or lending, including hands on administration of debt and or tax equity facilities and related compliance reporting.  Proven experience in portfolio management, particularly in administering loan facilities, tax equity financing, and LOC facilities is a huge plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify risks early, quantify impacts, and escalate with options and recommended actions
  • Strong relationship management skills with banks, tax equity investors, and advisors, including professional communication and disciplined follow-up
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, including cash flow and funding mechanics, covenant calculations, and variance explanations
  • Ability to coordinate cross functionally with Legal, Accounting, and project teams to resolve issues quickly and prevent rework
  • Proficiency in Excel required; familiarity with treasury, accounting, and document management systems preferred (specific tools as applicable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Own administration of assigned loan and tax equity facilities by maintaining facility trackers, key terms, covenants, deliverable calendars, and compliance evidence repositories
  • Manage recurring compliance and covenant reporting by preparing calculations, assembling support, coordinating reviews, and submitting complete and timely packages to lenders and investors
  • Drive debt and tax equity funding processes by coordinating draw requests, conditions precedent tracking, funds flow logistics, and issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders
  • Review financing documentation for operational requirements and ongoing obligations by extracting deliverables, building checklists, and ensuring internal owners understand timelines and impacts
  • Coordinate amendments, waivers, and consents as applicable by preparing required materials, tracking approvals, and partnering with Legal and deal teams to close items on schedule
  • Own administration of corporate line of credit facilities as applicable by monitoring utilization, maintaining reporting, and ensuring compliance with terms and internal controls
  • Develop and improve repeatable processes, templates, and dashboards for financing administration to reduce cycle time, improve accuracy, and enable clear visibility into liquidity and compliance status
  • Partner with Accounting and project teams to ensure accurate cash movement and timely posting by reconciling funding activity and resolving discrepancies and documentation gaps
  • Maintain lender and investor relationships for assigned facilities by serving as a primary point of contact for ongoing inquiries and by driving timely, consistent communications
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to resolve any issues related to loan or tax equity agreements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking and tax equity investors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for banking-related inquiries and communications on existing loan, joint venture and tax equity facilities.
  • Develop and implement a robust compliance reporting system.
