Position Summary

The Classroom Administrator & Membership Specialist serves as the primary administrative and customer service representative at Concealed Coalition training events. This role is responsible for creating an exceptional student experience from check-in to class completion while supporting membership growth and administrative operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, sales-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced training environment. This position requires weekend availability, occasional travel within the state, and the ability to confidently engage with students while managing multiple administrative responsibilities.

This position offers a base compensation plus performance-based bonuses tied to membership and sales goals.

This is a weekend-only position and will require 1 - 2 weekends of availability. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Student Experience & Customer Service

  • Welcome students and create a positive first impression upon arrival.

  • Check students into classes using company software and systems.

  • Verify registration information and ensure all required documentation is completed.

  • Answer student questions and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event.

  • Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage student attendance and class rosters.

  • Distribute training materials, handouts, and course resources.

  • Process membership applications and related paperwork accurately.

  • Ensure all required forms and documentation are completed and submitted.

  • Maintain accurate records and data entry within company systems.

  • Communicate event updates, attendance information, and administrative reports to management.

Sales & Membership Growth

  • Support membership enrollment initiatives during training events.

  • Educate students on membership benefits and available programs.

  • Assist instructors with membership presentations and sales opportunities.

  • Help achieve class membership and sales goals.

  • Track sales metrics and performance results.

  • Contribute ideas and strategies to improve membership conversion rates.

Event Support

  • Coordinate with venue staff as needed.

  • Support smooth event operations before, during, and after classes.

Travel & Weekend Availability

  • Attend scheduled training events throughout the state as assigned.

  • Travel to various training locations when needed.

  • Work weekends consistently, as most classes occur on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Occasionally assist with special events, trade shows, or community outreach opportunities.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or administrative support.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable speaking with groups and engaging with students.

  • Proficient with computers, web-based software, and data entry.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the state.

  • Availability to work weekends.

Preferred

  • Firearms industry experience.

  • Range Safety Officer (RSO) certification.

  • Concealed carry permit holder.

  • Previous experience working in training, education, retail, or event environments.

  • Experience processing memberships, subscriptions, or sales transactions.
