The Position 

 

CDAREVON is recruiting for the position of Asset Management & Reporting Intern, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.  

 

Job Description 

 

The Asset Management & Reporting Intern will be responsible for translating business needs to technical specifications as well as communicating with counterparties and internal stakeholders. The role requires detailed analysis and interpretation of internal systems & various types of operational / financial data. The role will be part of the Commercial Asset Management team and will report directly to the Senior Manager of Asset Management. The responsibilities of the Asset Management & Reporting Intern include but not limited to: 

 

·        Building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and statistical analysis

·        Collaborating closely with multiple teams to effectively organize data and identify new metrics to be tracked

·        Support the development of database tables to support new data sources

·        Perform analysis and recommendations toward opportunities for process improvement and automation

·        Develop and update technical documentation

·        Other duties as assigned by business demands

 

 

  

Experience Requirements 

 

·        0 to 2 years of relevant work experience. 

·        Proven track record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures, experienced within computer technologies including data analytics and programming

·        Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

·        Experience in the design and development of visual analytics interfaces (eg. Power BI or Tableau)

·        Strong working knowledge of relational databases (eg. SQL & MySQL)

·        In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework

·        Knowledgeable about data science & machine learning

 

 

Education Requirements 

·        Currently working towards a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or another relevant field
