Position Overview

The Contracts Manager will be a part of the Arevon Procurement Team and will report directly to the Sr.  Procurement Manager. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for:

Ø  Leading commercial EPC negotiations & contract execution for PV + energy storage EPC Contracts.

Ø  Develop and coordinate EPC due diligence processes & competitive RFPs to support future projects.

Ø  Manage document control of all project documents including but not limited to contracts, warranties, insurance, Change Orders, and technical project documents.

Ø  Lead all contract documentation across multiple organizations including Legal, Finance, Operations, and EPCs.

Ø  Administer and manage documents and forms and documents related to EPC contracting efforts.

Ø  Accurately compile and provide relevant project information to the appropriate project team members.

Ø  Establish and maintain best-in-class EPC/price database tools to maximize project economics for Arevon greenfield development/M&A projects.

Ø  Continuously collect market intelligence on solar PV + energy storage EPCs from external sources to generate creative visualizations for Arevon Management, and Investor presentations.

Ø  Maintain feedback loop with the Asset Management Team to ensure operational issues are documented and considered for future project designs.

Ø  Support tax equity Investor Q&A due diligence processes for project financing.

Ø  Develop and establish bidding packages, RFP templates, award/rejection letters, etc. to support all company procurement efforts.

Ø  Develop and establish internal processes and procedures to optimize efficient workflow via software implementation.

Position Requirements

 

Ø  3-7 years of engineering, supply chain, contracting or finance related experience

Ø  +3 years of EPC contract execution experience

Ø  Passionate about power plants and the renewable energy industry

Ø  Ability/willingness to travel (<10%) and occasionally to work overtime on short notice when necessary

Ø  Ability/willingness to learn and perform task that fall outside of core scope of work

Ø  Ability to organize and prioritize work, manage relationships with colleagues

Ø  Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to perform in a dynamic and collaborative working environment

Ø  Entrepreneurial spirited with a team player mentality

Ø  Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerBI and/or other visualization platforms considered an asset)

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 

Education Requirements

 

Ø  Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, supply chain or business discipline from an accredited institution
