 Position Responsibilities

  • The Procurement Manager will be a part of the Arevon Procurement Team and will report directly to the Director of Procurement. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
  • Managing technology selection as well as articulating and implementing a multi-year procurement strategy to produce grade PV assets
  • Leading technical/commercial supplier/contractor due diligence processes, competitive RFPs, negotiations, contract execution for solar PV EPC and capital equipment agreements
  • Establishing best-in-class technology/price forecasting tools to maximize project economics for CapDyn greenfield development/M&A projects
  • Ensuring that risks are mitigated through alignment across major agreements (PPA’s, LGIA’s, BOS, etc…) that have an interplay with Arevon’s EPC agreements and equipment MSA’s
  • Utilizing industry standard engineering modeling software to validate equipment specifications and power plant performance models
  • Conducting manufacturing facility and construction site visits to ensure proper QAQC measures are followed on procured equipment
  • Develop internal processes and procedures to optimize efficient workflow via software implementation

Position Requirement  

  • 4-8 years of supply chain experience in renewable energy
  • Understanding of solar project design and optimization tradeoffs and familiarity with current solar market, equipment suppliers, contractors, typical technical specifications, and costs
  • Experience with solar project financing and independent engineer requirements
  • Understanding of solar energy estimates, losses, assumptions, and standards
  • Heavy experience leading commercial negotiations of MSA’s and EPC agreements and technical exhibits for solar facilities
  • Working knowledge of relevant US and IEC equipment standards, codes and construction practices
  • Ability and willingness to travel (<10%) and occasionally to work overtime on short notice when necessary
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work, manage relationships with clients, colleagues, consultants and contractor
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to perform in a dynamic and collaborative working environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirited with a team player mentality
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerBI and/or other Visualization platforms considered a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Education Requirements

  •  Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering, supply chain or business discipline from an accredited institution
