The Position
Arevon is recruiting for the position of Senior Manager of Financial, Planning, & Analysis (“FPA”), an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, the Senior Manager will perform a wide range of financial duties as part of the team and autonomously within the Finance and Accounting team. Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Valuation: Work with external parties to support the assessment of Arevon’s valuation.
- Strategy: Partner with senior management to build a long-term strategic business plan, which will be reassessed and updated annually or as needed.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Connect the strategic plan to reality by helping set annual & semiannual targets and goals required to achieve the long term strategic plan.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of executive and investor reporting to inform decision makers frequently and promptly how the company is tracking against plan. Improve our utilization of business intelligence tools and build dashboard reports.
- Cash management: Support the treasury team with necessary data and analysis for capital planning Modeling: Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives. Maintain, review, and improve existing financial models by standardizing and documenting sources of data.
- Ad hoc analysis: Use data and advise management on decisions such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities from within Arevon.
Experience Requirements
- Combination of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an FP&A department.
- Industry and banking experience is highly desired.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and experience developing and building complex financial models using Microsoft Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP Attention to detail and the ability to set and meet realistic deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously with little supervision while continuously ensuring alignment of objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Powerpoint.
- Experience using PowerBI or Netsuite a plus.
Education Requirements
- Superior academic performance from a major institution is required.
- Minimum BS/BA in Accountancy or Finance, MBA or CPA license highly desired but not required.
