The Position

AREVON is recruiting for the position of Compliance Analyst, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.


Job Description

This individual will be responsible for supporting the growing Compliance team with the design and implementation of audit scope, audit processes, and control testing as well as documentation and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be someone with intellectual curiosity, initiative, and a drive to succeed. This position is located in Scottsdale, Arizona with a hybrid in-office policy.


Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and document company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the delivery of training and education to individuals and teams on related topics.
  • Serves as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management, obtain advice, or report compliance and/or ethics violations.
  • Identify ethics and compliance matters that require follow-up or investigation, and as appropriate, provide assistance.
  • Assist with carrying out other special projects, such as investigations, business inquiries, etc.
  • Assist in the development of annual audit planning.
  • Prepare and execute scheduled audits including planning, preparation, execution, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Perform various aspects of execution of risk-based operational audits.
  • Document all information pertaining to audit results including findings, opportunities, and observations.
  • Follow-up with management on remediation action plans.
  • Promote value and recommendations including efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Evaluate the overall efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and risk areas in compliance with applicable process standards.
  • Demonstrate high standards of conduct and ethics as well as ability to use appropriate judgment and discretion.


Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or comparable education, training, and experience is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Compliance or Internal Audit is required. 
  • Renewable energy industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence across the company.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the desire for continuous process improvement.
