The Position

We’re looking for a talented and energetic Senior Manager, HR Operations to join our team and participate broadly in building out and professionalizing our internal HR operations.

If you have deep experience in all aspects of HR operations, payroll, benefits, HR information systems, labor laws, and HR best practices, we’d like to meet you. The Senior Manager, HR Operations is a new position that will be located in our headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.


Essential Responsibilities & Duties
  • Coordinate with the Director of People & Culture on all HR initiatives and enhancements
  • Lead the “insourcing” of all PEO-provided HR functions through the implementation of people, processes, and systems
  • Manage the selection, design, and implementation of an HRIS that handles all aspects of the human resources function
  • Manage payroll, including payroll processing, benefits and withholdings, expense reimbursements, Federal and State payroll tax processing and tax payments
  • Manage benefits, including benefits selection, design, and implementation, annual benefits procurement and plan design, planning and conducting annual open enrollment, implementing and overseeing an internal 401(k) plan with associated compliance activities, and develop other employee benefit programs and benefit enhancements
  • Manage policies and procedures, including developing a control framework, documenting all policies and procedures and controls, performing technical writing and developing/updating HR policies
  • Manage overall governance framework including management and oversight of all personnel- related company policies, procedures, with associated compliance, tracking, reporting, recordkeeping, and communications
  • Consult with hiring managers, department leads, and employees to develop and foster an environment of mutual trust with open lines of communication
  • Stay up-to-date with current HR matters and participate in industry professional development events
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”



Qualifications

10+ years of experience in a full-cycle HR operational role overseeing all aspects of HR including extensive and detailed knowledge and understanding HR policies and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline

Detailed knowledge and understanding HR policies and best practices

Extensive familiarity with HR software information systems, databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems

Strong decision-making skills and ability to think independently

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations’ facilities
