The Position
This new team member will be responsible for supporting the growing project development and legal teams in the areas of land acquisition, title review and document management.  The ideal candidate will exhibit attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple areas of expertise.  Our work environment is inclusive and flexible.  There will be exceptional room for growth and influence based upon the candidate’s skills and interests. This new position will be located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Coordinate with development team and outside counsel in connection with acquisition and permitting of new project sites.
Oversee communication with title insurance companies in connection with development of solar farms and other energy projects.
Perform detailed review of surveys, title reports and underlying documents.
Assist with development of strategies and documentation for minimizing and resolving title risks.
Manage system for real estate document retention.
Develop and implement legal process improvements in line with company objectives.
·         Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence across the company. 
·         Ability to work as an integrated part of a team in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. 
·         Attention to detail and the desire for continuous process improvement. 
·         A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or comparable education, training, and experience is required. A paralegal certificate is preferred, but not required if candidate can demonstrate relevant real estate and development experience.
·         Energy industry experience is a plus but is not required.
