The Position

This new team member will be responsible for supporting the growing project development and legal teams in the areas of title insurance, site control, and document management.  The ideal candidate will exhibit attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across multiple areas of expertise.  Our work environment is inclusive and flexible.  There will be exceptional room for growth and influence based upon the candidate’s skills and interests. This new position will be located in Scottsdale, Arizona.


Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate with development team and outside counsel in connection with leasing and acquisition of new project sites.
  • Perform detailed reviews of surveys, title reports, and underlying documents.
  • Oversee communication with title insurance companies.
  • Assist with development of strategies and documentation for resolving title risks.
  • Manage system for real estate document retention.
  • Develop and implement process improvements in line with company objectives.


Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant project development experience with law firm, title company, or developer.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence across the company. 
  • Ability to work as an integrated part of a team in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and the desire for continuous process improvement.
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or comparable education, training, and experience is required. A law degree or paralegal certificate is not required if candidate can demonstrate relevant development experience.
  • Energy industry experience is a plus but is not required.
