 AREVON is recruiting for the position of Legal Assistant/Paralegal, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important  industries for the 21st century. 



Job Description


The Legal Assistant or Paralegal will be responsible for supporting the growing legal team with management of corporate entities, legal billing, document control, presentations, and various other projects. The ideal candidate will be someone with intellectual curiosity and a drive to succeed. Our vibrant culture and flexible corporate environment provide room for growth based upon the candidate’s skills and interests.  This position is located in Scottsdale, Arizona with a hybrid in-office policy.

 


·         Essential Responsibilities & Duties


·         Coordinate management of legal entities in the Arevon organization, including ownership of systems for entity formation, management and compliance. 


·         Draft, file and track legal and compliance documents, including entity registrations, annual filings, and project documents.  


·         Manage legal billing systems and processes.


·         Communicate with outside law firms and management on legal billing matters.


·         Assist with the drafting, execution, and management of legal notices.


·         Assist with presentations and logistics for the Arevon legal team.


·         Participate in developing process improvements in line with company objectives.

 


Qualifications



·         A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), or comparable education, training, and experience is required. A paralegal certificate and experience at a law firm or in-house legal department is preferred, but not required. 


·         Renewable energy industry experience is a plus. 


·         Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence across the company. 


·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 


·         Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. 


·         Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the desire for continuous process improvement.
