The Position 

 

AREVON is recruiting for the position of Asset Management Settlements Analyst, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.  

 

Job Description 

 

The Asset Management Settlements Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of monthly receivables invoices and collections. This role requires strong communication, organization and Excel skills in dealing with multiple counterparties on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented and have experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning system and/or a willingness to learn new systems. The role will be part of the Commercial Asset Management team and will report directly to the Director of Asset Management. The responsibilities of the Asset Management Settlements Analyst include but are not limited to: 

 

·         Preparation and distribution of monthly customer invoices

·         Performing A/R aging analysis and follow-up for overdue accounts

·         Ownership to resolution of customer invoicing questions

·         Perform analysis and recommendations toward opportunities for process improvement and automation

·         Application of cash receipts against outstanding invoices in ERP system

·         Filing Electric Quarterly Reports for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and monthly reports for the Energy Infrastructure Administration

·         Updating settlements-related Job Process Aids as process evolution occurs

·         Assisting in preparation of internal and external monthly reporting

·         Other duties as assigned by business demands

 

Experience Requirements 

 

·         0 to 2 years of relevant work experience. 

·         Proven track record of working well within a team environment

·         Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

 

Education Requirements 

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Accounting, Finance, General Business, or another relevant field
