As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you are an instrumental part of the team, working to support, learn, and grow from the Management team while playing the critical role of supporting, educating and growing the line-staff team. You are a team player in every sense of the word. You have first hand knowledge of each position on the Restaurant Team, allowing you to not only support but meet each teammate where they are at and help them grow, thereby establishing a shared level of excellence and camaraderie, making Gravity Haus not only the premier location for dining and guest experience, but the premier location to be a part of an award-winning team!

What You’ll Do:
Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager, Kitchen Manager and hotel General Manager, collaborating to realize the company’s vision, mission, and goals.
Collaborate on the development, implementation, and execution of programs and initiatives aimed at culture-building, employee training and development, service standards, menu creation, expense and cost management, all with an eye toward affirming the company’s cultural and fiscal successes as well as the value of its member experience.
Be on the floor to assist in coaching, training and service experience, jumping into any role as needed. Be an ambassador on the floor.
Assist GM with monthly inventory of beverage supplies and flatware/glassware as needed
Train and develop the team members
Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed and all side work is completed daily
Hold pre-shift meetings each day to review
On the books numbers for the night

VIPs/Members coming in
GH-wide happenings
Collaborate on the financial performance of the outlet, including being an active driver of marketing, sales, events and promotions.
Managing Opentable seating capacity and cadence to ensure maximum profitability and occupancy
Know your numbers and adjust daily to business volumes the staffing
Assist in invoice submissions and expense tracking
Evaluate menu pricing with product cost fluctuations to ensure margins are contained
Train the team on recommendation techniques to drive sales and improve experience.
Collaborate with the events team to create, plan, and host member and community events for our Vail and Gravity Haus - wide community.
