More About You:


  • The ideal candidate has 1+ years working in a pastry kitchen, though the experience is not required for the right candidate

  • High School Diploma

  • Hungry for experience, eager to learn

  • Basic math skills Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail

  • Ability to understand written and verbal communication in English

  • Ability to initiate problem solving

  • Ability to understand and implement standard operating procedures

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • You have the desire and ability to learn entry-level pastry…and perhaps beyond!

  • You’re reliable and love a fast-paced work environment.

  • You are able to maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • You have basic culinary knowledge or are eager and willing to learn! 

  • You have proficient knife skills or the ability and desire to learn.

  • You love to create positive guest  experiences both in the kitchen and throughout the hotel.

  • You have an appreciation for and commitment to the outdoors, sustainability, and your own personal growth.

  • You are authorized to work in the United States.

What You’ll Do: 


  • Scaling and production of doughs, quick breads, crumbles, batters and flour mixes

  • Assembling plated desserts

  • Maintaining mise en place of their station.

  • Consolidate, rotate, organize, and clean station.

  • Maintain a well-organized, stocked, efficient, clean and safe working environment.

  • Effectively communicate with all members of kitchen team.

  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

  • Maintain company confidentiality.

  • Establish priorities based on the kitchen's needs. 

  • You’ll prepare pastry ingredients as directed by the executive pastry chef

  • Be a Gravity Haus Ambassador with an active part in our mission and vision. 

  • Provide a genuine and elevated guest experience with a community focus, sustainable approach and driven attitude.

Additional Requirements:


  • Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Holidays and weekends required
