Slope Room at Gravity Haus Vail is looking for a HEAD SOMMELIER to join our team of adventure lovers looking to provide enlightened hospitality to our members and guests! The Head Sommelier will be responsible for spearheading and developing and maintaining the entire Wine program, managing all wine selections and tasting, creating and managing the wine menu, overseeing all wine-related staff education and training, and handling wine inventory and ordering.
The perfect candidate will require excellent people skills, dedication, love of wine, food and service. The Head Sommelier will also be responsible for maintaining and helping with floor service, daily managerial operations, hiring, training and managing other Floor Sommeliers.
The ideal candidate should have at least two (2) years Sommelier experience in a fine
dining restaurant.
