Position Title: Human Resource Assistant

Administrative Supervisors: Director of Operations/Human Resources Manager

Led by a highly skilled team of anesthesiology and pain management doctors, The Nexus Pain Center in Columbus Georgia, is a preeminent pain clinic providing their patients with innovative medical solutions and cutting-edge technologies. The Nexus Pain Center offers spinal-focused interventional pain management using the Boston Scientific Spinal Cord Stimulator and Stryker Radiofrequency tools, as well as nonsurgical options for pain and nonopioid medical therapies for those over the age of 18. These specialists pride themselves on their ability to give their patients the best care and service.

Position Summary: As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations within the organization. You will assist with recruitment processes, employee onboarding, maintaining personnel records, Payroll and providing administrative support to the HR manager, Director of Operations and employees.

Qualifications: Aa Associates/Bachelor’s degree or two-plus years of relevant experience is preferred. Knowledge of HR principles, techniques, and procedures. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Must be able to problem solve and have teamwork and influencing skills.

Travel: There is travel in this position. We currently have locations in Columbus, LaGrange, Newnan, Fayetteville, and McDonough GA with expected growth in the next quarter. Nexus will reimburse for travel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment Support:

· Assist in posting job openings on various platforms and job boards.

· Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.

· Schedule interviews and coordinate communication with candidates.

· Assist in conducting reference checks and background screenings.

2. Employee Onboarding:

· Prepare new hire paperwork and assist in the onboarding process.

· Coordinate orientation sessions and ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the organization.

· Assist in setting up employee benefits and payroll information.

3. Personnel Record Maintenance:

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR databases.

· Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality policies.

· Assist in generating reports and analyzing HR metrics as needed.

4. Administrative Support:

· Provide general administrative support to the HR Manager, including filing, copying, and scanning documents.

· Manage HR correspondence, emails, and phone calls.

· Assist in organizing HR events, meetings, and training sessions.

· Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Director of Operations.

· Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed.

· Assist in managing expense reports and reimbursements for the finance department.

· Provide administrative support for financial tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

· Assist in special projects and initiatives and assigned by the Director of Operations and the leadership team.

5. Policy and Procedure Compliance:

· Assist in ensuring company policies and procedures are communicated effectively to employees.

· Support HR manager in implementing and enforcing HR policies and guidelines.

· Assist in handling employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.

6. Payroll Processing:

· Assist in processing Bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for employees/contractors accurately and on time.

· Review and verify timesheets, timecards, and attendance records for accuracy.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Adheres to the NEXus Pain Center’s policies and procedures.

2. Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required.

3. Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
