What You’ll Do

At Blackpoint, we’ve experienced a strong period of growth as a direct result of increased efficiency and productivity. To continue this trajectory, we’re searching for a highly qualified Chief of Staff to work closely with our executive team. From Day 1, this person will have an immediate impact on our productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives to departments. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.

Objectives of this role:

• Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of senior leadership and department heads.

• Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.

• Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.

• Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.

  • Facilitate meetings, workshops and program management  

  • Planning, coordinating and leading meetings and workshops, keeping contents and meeting focused 

  • Providing support and oversight for special projects and initiatives 

  • Ops Advisor for industry framework and best practices

  • Determining key performance indicators and how to measure team performance 

  • Providing tactical support to implement ideas 

  • Identifying and helping solve core problems or opportunities within business processes 

  • Identifying and providing recommendations on improvements across the organization 

  • Providing department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork 

  • Strategic planning 

  • Collaborating with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies

  • Overseeing strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation 

  • Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals 

  • Assessing risk when business decisions are made

  • CEO Support

  • Responding to inquiries on behalf of the Chief Executive 

  • Providing Chief Executive and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company’s operations 


Responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies

• Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork

• Facilitate key meetings by planning, coordinating, and keeping contents of a meeting focused

• Determining key performance indicators and how to measure team performance

• Provide tactical support to implement ideas

• Work with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals

• Respond to inquiries on behalf of the Chief Executive

• Oversee strategic business initiatives from ideation to implementation

• Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes


What You’ll Bring

• Seven or more years of experience in a business management or executive role

• Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.

• Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity.


Preferred Experience

 Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or a similar field.

• Experience in data analysis and budget management.

• Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management.

• Proven success in a project coordination role.

• Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions.

• Strong project-reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communications.
