What You’ll Do

• Manage servicing of existing Blackpoint Cyber insurance clients and support new business development for BP RISK.

• Support VP in establishing renewal strategy across book of business

• Facilitate submission to market in coordination with clients. • Analyze client-specific risk exposures and outline coverage requirements.

• Assume lead role in interfacing with the Cyber insurance market on behalf of clients.

• Negotiate with underwriters to procure the most suitable insurance for clients at the best price.

• Follow up with insurers to confirm terms of negotiated contracts are met.

• Create and deliver renewal / new business proposals to clients/prospects. • Bind and deliver policy and invoice documentation

• Support Blackpoint position as a thought leader on coverage trends and best practices as they impact Blackpoint clients and partners.

• Maintain best-in-class coverage standards across the portfolio.

• Drive utilization of all available technology throughout the marketing and client service process.

• Support VP in maintaining strategic business relationships with key Cyber insurance underwriters.

• Monitor new developments and changes in the insurance marketplace and availability of coverages, products and services.

• Work with team to support management of Cyber insurance claims.

• Develop and maintain practical Cyber benchmarking data specific to Blackpoint clients.

• Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities.

• Maintain technical proficiency through continued educational development.

• Maintain knowledge in market, industry, and economic and administrative trends.

• Understand the causes of E&O and avoid and adopt practices to reduce exposure.

• Manage administrative tasks such as dealing with paperwork, correspondence, and keeping detailed records.

• Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients, including scheduling and attending meetings.

• Attend industry events as needed to support BP Risk marketing and new business development

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cyber Insurance and Risk Management demonstrating increasing responsibility, with a focus in retail/wholesale brokerage, underwriting, and/or reinsurance.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience

• Active Casualty Broker/Agent license or ability to obtain upon hire.

• Knowledge of Cyber risk standards, security services, and technologies.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present analytical/technical content in a group setting.
