What You’ll Do
Blackpoint Cyber is a provider of leading-edge cybersecurity threat hunting, detection, and response technology. Blackpoint was founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts that applied their expertise to bring nation/state grade technologies to commercial customers around the world.
Reporting directly to the VP of Product, the Product Management team is seeking an experienced Product Manager who is technical, collaborative, and truly excited about building great security products. In this role, you will bring your in-depth knowledge of the endpoint, network, and security operations market to help guide the evolution of Blackpoint Cyber’s full suite of security services and products. You will bring existing knowledge about product management best practices and apply them in delivering significant new features and enhancements. The successful candidate will have the ability to interface and influence cross-functional teams throughout the company.
Who You Are
Blackpoint Cyber is looking for someone who will:
• Act as a product leader for initiatives that enhance our MDR and Logging and Compliance services
• Define and maintain strategy and product roadmap for the SNAP Defense and LogIC products
• Collaborate closely with Engineering and our SOC teams to understand threat and attack trends
• Utilize strategic insight and organizational skills to identify unmet customer needs, define use cases, and advance the functional capabilities of this offering
• Partner with marketing to help define go-to-market strategy & messaging, assist with product positioning, benefits, and target personas
• Engage with sales and support to champion recent releases and guide future product direction
• Conduct competitive analyses and maintain current information regarding competitive activity
• Work on a team of high-performing product professionals in a very collaborative environment
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
• 2 + years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
• 2 + years of product management experience in Endpoint, Network or closely related security domains
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
• Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks, and to layout your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
• Strong quantitative and business analysis skills
