Essential Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Work with customers and the internal SafePointe team to plan, schedule, execute and report on customer implementations of the SafePointe weapons detection system.
  • Install weapons detection systems at customer locations.  Including anchoring security bollards, installation of security cameras, racking IT equipment, running Cat6 cable, cutting concrete, filling concrete seams, and other such activities. 
  • Resolve discrepancies and conflicts with plans and personnel. 
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Document all work using provided tools (MS Office, Monday.com, ServiceMax, etc.)
  • Requires loading, unloading, lifting of equipment, some of which are heavy and bulky.
  • Requires 75% or more travel.
  • This is a hands-on role where you not only plan the work but are on the ground getting it done as well.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years of professional experience with IT/Facilities project management
  • 6+ years of experience with field installations or light construction
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to operate safely and comply with company and facility safety procedures.
  • Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
  • Professional experience working in hospital or casino environments highly desirable.

Hybrid Workplace:

SoundThinking follows a hybrid schedule for employees who live equal to or less than 50 miles from one of our office locations, which include Fremont, CA, Tucson, AZ, Washington, D.C., or Iselin, NJ. Employees are expected to work onsite 3 days per week – the specific days are dependent on the office location.
