People Operations Lead

 

 

The People Operations Lead is responsible for administering the HR infrastructure with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and supporting business goals. In this hands-on and employee-facing role, the successful incumbent will have accountability for our HR systems and databases, employee data and reporting as well as collaborate with leaders to address and resolve employee issues when needed. As part of this role, you will be required to work onsite in our Iselin, New Jersey office and will report to the SVP, Human Resources.

 

 

Essential Responsibilities/Duties

  • Managing HR systems to streamline operations, ensure accuracy and promote employee self service
  • Serving as HR lead to support and drive a positive employee experience
  • Anticipating and providing proactive solutions for employee concerns
  • Managing HR reporting and analytics to support business goals, inform decision making and improve processes
  • Fostering a positive workplace and promoting a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Working closely with Recruiting for all employee immigration related matters
  • Ensuring people practices are compliant with employment laws and company policies
  • Reviewing employee data including surveys to provide recommendations to refine employee experience.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of HR or People Operations experience including reporting, compensation, benefits and/or employee relations
  • Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills including pivot tables and building complex spreadsheets
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and work with all levels of employees
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Understanding of HR best practices including discretion and handling confidential matters
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience or a combination of both
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to other offices

 

Location: Hybrid, Office in Iselin, New Jersey

 

Hybrid Workplace:

SoundThinking follows a hybrid schedule for employees who live equal to or less than 50 miles from one of our office locations, which include Fremont, CA, Tucson, AZ, Washington, D.C., or Iselin, NJ. Employees are expected to work onsite 3 days per week – the specific days are dependent on the office location.
