Net Instructor
NET Instructor (Journeyman) shall possess between 3 and 10 years of direct experience operating and/or instructing the operation of mission control systems, and demonstrate proficiency in NET Instructor PWS areas. Must be Instructor Certified through a credible Instructor Course approved by the Government. Must be able to communicate with junior, mid-grade, and senior Army personnel. Must have extensive Army background, preferably retired, recently separated, or instructing/operating mission control systems in the private sector.
- Provide New Equipment Training (NET) instruction in classroom and field environments on Mission Command Systems to junior, mid-grade, and senior military personnel
- Develop, review and update lesson plans to account for new systems, upgrades, and processes
- Validate and verify NET materials prior to departure for the training mission; conduct dry-run training courses in preparation for training missions
- Troubleshoot equipment, software, operational procedures and interoperability problems with Mission Control Systems
- Maintain currency of classroom training materials such as student handouts, lesson plans, briefing materials, and practical exercises, in response to customer requirements
- Develops training reports, trip reports, and post-training products as needed
- Available for travel up to 75% of time, depending mission requirements and area of focus
- Able to manage logistics and physically move equipment up to 60 lbs in support of training set-up requirements
- Conducts all operations in a professional manner at all times, to include customer site, company site, and during travel
- Possesses a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
