Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our enterprise sales team. This role is pivotal in nurturing and expanding our client relationships, driving product adoption, and achieving usage growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management within the SaaS industry, a strategic mindset, and the ability to forecast revenue and exceed quotas consistently.

You will be responsible for managing deal cycles from generation through to close. You will be the primary contact and have the responsibilities of running a full consultative sales cycle including, discovery, demos, technical alignment, negotiating contracts, and managing procurement. You will be accountable for developing and leading strategic account plans that will align the overall account strategy and revenue goals with BaseCap’s internal teams and relevant client stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

Account Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive account plans for each client, outlining key objectives, strategies for growth, potential upsell opportunities, and a clear roadmap for achieving usage and revenue targets.

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of enterprise accounts.

Quota Achievement: Drive revenue growth by meeting and exceeding usage and revenue quotas. Develop and execute account plans to expand product usage within assigned accounts.

Usage Growth: Proactively identify opportunities for clients to increase their use of our SaaS solutions, ensuring they receive maximum value from our products.

Customer Success: Collaborate with the internal teams to ensure client satisfaction, successful onboarding, and ongoing support, resulting in high client retention rates.

Expansion Motion: BaseCap's tool can provide value across a wide range of applications and systems.  You are encouraged and incentivized to find new business needs within client organizations to drive increased and deeper value. 

Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to provide valuable insights and recommendations to internal teams.

Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics in the CRM system. Prepare regular reports on account status and progress towards goals. Forecast and close revenue to forecast.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and other internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to account management and client engagement.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of account management experience in the enterprise software industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.

• Strong understanding of sales processes, tools, and methodologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
