We created a software platform that frees up teams from cleaning and setting up data and allows them to focus on creating accurate, actionable insights for their company.
As a tester, you will be responsible for validating new feature functionality and ensuring bugs and other new code has not regressed the existing functionality of our Data Quality Manager Platform. We are looking for someone who is technically savvy and eager to learn. While basic scripting is not a requirement, the ideal candidate has an interest in learning how to implement automated testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features, with an eye toward testability
- Write manual tests scripts necessary to ensure the operation and correctness of new features
- Perform front-end user acceptance testing for all new features
- Perform end-to-end regression tests in preparation for new releases
- Perform smoke tests to ensure successful releases
- Provide consistent communication regarding testing status to both the Engineering and Business teams
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Experience writing/executing front-end web application test plans/test cases, UAT, system testing, regression testing, and stress testing
- Experience with testing approaches/concepts, quality management, testing tools, software configuration management, issues management, and requirements analysis/documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with functional and performance testing in large-scale, complex, full-stack systems
- Prior experience with testing automation and basic scripting tools such as Selenium, TestNG etc.
- Experience testing Rest APIs using Postman or other similar tools
- Data testing, business intelligence, writing/troubleshooting SQL queries and validating large quantities of data
