The Event Operations Department is responsible for all site selection, housing, registration, trade show management, planning and on-site logistics of the events which the company itself produces.

 

The Event Registration Manager is a fulltime position reporting to the Director of Event Operations. You may work remotely (limited to the US, excluding NY and CA; and Canada) or come in to our offices outside Denver CO. Some travel is required, for which vaccination and masks are required.

 

Job Responsibilities

Ø  Oversee coordination and management of pre-show, digital, and on-site registration services.

Ø  Monitor and maintain registration project plan for all events

Ø  Oversee the development of registration processes prior to registration launch to include testing functionality of registration site and newly implemented features.

Ø  Work with Sales Team on exhibitor registration processes

Ø  Work with Marketing Team to ensure accuracy of registration related information on all digital platforms including, but not limited to, show/event websites.

Ø  Maintain working relationship with registration company via conference calls, e-mails, etc.

Ø  Research and benchmark ways to improve registration processes in all facets of registration to include preshow, on-site, and digital experiences.

Ø  Provide customer support as needed for attendees and exhibitors

Ø  Process registrations for select categories such as VIP guests and complimentary registrations.

Ø  Schedule, train, and manage on-site registration and temporary staff.

Ø  Prepare comprehensive registration reports as requested and maintain historical registration files and reports.

Ø  Review all registration related invoices, process payment requests, and forward for approval and payment in a timely manner.

Ø  Prepare RFP’s, review and make recommendations for registration services to include registration company and temporary staffing.

Ø  Handle all other event, trade show, and meeting related duties as assigned.

 

 

Required Skills:

Ø  Familiarity with trade show management software and/or registration systems.

Ø  High level of flexibility and ability to multitask.

Ø  Must be self motivated.

Ø  Excellent time management, organizational, communication, proofreading and decision making skills required.

Ø  Must have strong customer service and problem solving skills.

Ø  Must have strong leadership skills and ability to project a calm professional demeanor in the face of challenging situations.

Ø  Above average skills in MS Office applications.

 

Qualifications:

Ø  3-5 years’ experience in event planning is requested

Ø  Experience in event and/or tradeshow registration services.

Ø  Experience with management of large tradeshows (25000 attendees and exhibitor staff) a plus.

 

Miscellaneous Requirements:

Ø  Moderate travel required.

Ø  Full time, exempt status.

Ø  Must be able to work overtime prior to and during events.

Ø  This position requires patience, understanding, diplomacy, ability to negotiate, optimism, common sense and the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of personalities, authorities, and cultures.

 

Pay:    $50,000-$60,000 per year
