Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for understanding and executing critical elements of our department’s Marketing Strategy, with the ability to help develop and manage campaigns, market research, B2B and D2C marketing programs, events, and reporting methods, as well as B2B marketing efforts for brand positioning and awareness.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing department and work towards content creation, brand building, internal/external branding, lead generation, advertising/sponsorships, events such as webinars, podcasts, and digital marketing to help the company meet its growth objectives. In this role, collaboration with an array of cross-functional team members, other departments such as Sales, and external vendors is essential to grow the organization. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage B2B marketing campaigns, primarily through email, LinkedIn and other social.
  • Perform ongoing tracking and reporting of B2B and D2C marketing activities to understand positive and negative outcomes to improve marketing strategy.
  • Assess the results of marketing campaigns regularly utilizing CRM and other analytic platforms.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create content and messaging for marketing efforts, including campaigns, advertising, and events, and ensure brand and voice consistency through all marketing efforts.
  • Contribute towards developing a sustainable lead generation system, focusing on customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of a company’s services and products and how they can solve the unique problems of each lead.
  • Perform industry and competition analysis to inform the sales process and assist in positioning and maintaining messaging consistent with marketing strategy.
  • Create and publish content as part of a bigger digital marketing strategy.
  • Participate in professional development and/or networking conferences and events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of campaign strategy.

  • Strong understanding of A/B and multivariate testing, user segmentation, and reporting processes.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or related field.
  • At least two years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
