Manufacturing Production Operator This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt, 2nd shift position responsible for coordinating manufacturing, maintenance, inventory, documentation, and shipping/receiving functions.

Production Operator Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • At least one year of experience in shipping and/or receiving role 
  • Must have demonstrated mechanical ability, experience with industrial equipment a plus, and understanding of cGMPct
  • Must be able to perform a variety of tasks in the plant including equipment operation and basic maintenance 
  • Ability to follow instructions, take initiative, and work independently
  • Dependability in coming to work and on-time
  • Basic computer skills desired
  • Must be available 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. week days – 2nd shift
  • Willing to consent to background check: social security, prior employment, and education verification, and criminal history check and to pre-employment drug screening.

Production Operator Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to produce end-product
  • Work with internal Timilon staff members to meet or exceed the needs of our Customers, including: running special production batches; assisting with developmental materials; preparing proprietary or custom blends of materials; preparing shipments; or delivery of product
  • Monitor inventory levels and schedule replenishments to ensure that min/max levels are appropriately maintained
  • Ensure the plant facilities and equipment are kept clean, safe, and organized by conducting periodic walk-throughs and taking the appropriate action necessary 
  • Follow established standard maintenance and calibration schedules and coordinate such with external and internal resources
  • Pick and pack orders as required for outgoing shipments
  • Assist in receiving, checking-in, and disbursement of materials, equipment, and supplies; maintain proper records
  • Safely and efficiently operate process equipment
  • Observe equipment operation protocols, as well as process flows, and suggest improvements to optimize production capabilities
  • Record and document data and processing parameters in a clear, concise, and timely manner, maintain manufacturing records
  • Assist with the maintenance and calibration of equipment, as required
  • Perform auxiliary functions as needed
