Package Assembler This is a part-time or full-time, hourly, non-exempt, 1st or 2nd shift position responsible for following Standard Operating Procedures to safely and efficiently assemble end-product.  You will receive on-the-job training and be part of a growing company with significant career development potential.  Part-time position will have potential to become full-time.

Package Assembler Requirements:

  • No experience required; assembly line experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education
  • Must be able to perform all steps in the assembly process efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and conscientious about doing a good job
  • Ability to follow instructions, take initiative, and work effectively in a team environment
  • A high level of dependability is required (coming to work and on-time) 
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble parts and components
  • Ability to stand for 8-hour shift
  • Willing to consent to background check: social security, prior employment, and education verification, and criminal history check
  • Must be authorized to work in US

 

Package Assembler Responsibilities:

  • Assemble finished product to quality standards and specifications
  • Safely and efficiently operate equipment in accordance with existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to produce materials for sale and testing
  • Observe equipment operation as well as process flows and suggest improvements which will optimize production capabilities
  • Ensure the facilities and equipment are kept clean, safe, and organized
  • Perform auxiliary functions as needed

Working Conditions:

Requires standing for extended periods of time, heavy lifting, working with fine powders and equipment, working in extreme temperatures (hot & cold), and under dusty conditions.  May require wearing a respirator.  Overtime or shift work as required.
