Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant (Bonita Springs, FL) – This is a great opportunity to join a high growth company and assist with building a highly-skilled accounting function. This is full-time role, reporting to the Controller, and responsible for accounting and finance activities at our Bonita Springs headquarters. Key areas of responsibilities include month end close, fixed asset accounting, account reconciliations, assisting with developing efficient processes and internal controls, audit support, financial reporting, support Timilon’s manufacturing/distribution plant’s accounting function, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Staff Accountant / Sr. Accountant Requirements:
- 3-7 years of accounting experience
- B.A. in Accounting, or related field
- CPA preferred
- Public accounting experience is a plus
- Proficient knowledge of US-GAAP
- High level of proficiency in Excel
- Experience in NetSuite by Oracle preferred
- Manufacturing or distribution background preferred
- Strong initiative, self-starter, and operates with a sense of urgency
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate
- Ability to multi-task and work toward multiple goals, simultaneously
- Willing to consent to background check: social security, prior employment, and education verification, and criminal history check
Staff Accountant / Sr. Accountant Responsibilities:
- Responsible for timely and accurate Month end closing including accruals, journal entries, balance sheet and P&L analysis, and account reconciliations
- Proper recording of all fixed assets transactions and maintenance of asset records
- Maintain manufacturing cost and prepare variance analysis
- Prepare various managerial reports
- Assist with maintaining the inventory unit and cost accuracy by verifying all inventory transactions are recorded properly, receipt and shipping supporting documents are properly maintained, and assisting with cycle counts and the year-end physical inventory process
- Support the AP and AR functions
- Assist in preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast projections
- Support annual audit
- Assist with streamline accounting processes and developing strong internal controls
- Other duties and projects, as assigned
Salary and Benefits:
Starting base salary ranges from $65,000 to $85,000
