Production Specialist

Job Purpose

To ensure the upkeep of master production schedule, inventory data, BOM, materials procurement LT, MOQ, and pricing, to maintain SAP database, and to run MRP.

Responsibilities

Production Planning Related:

·         Support plant manager for product forecasting and materials procurement management

·         Update and maintain annual and monthly MPS based on the delivery plans from supply chain, customers, and inventory report

·         Responsible for building and maintaining materials database, product routings, and versions in SAP

·         Maintain product BOM of different batch sizes in both SAP and Excel versions

·         Execute MRP and conduct inventory/materials report on the monthly basis

·         Coordinate and harmonize materials and products delivery between supply chain and manufacturer

·         Provide monthly products inventory report and check product MTS and MTO planning strategy

·         Categorize materials and provide key materials management strategy

·         In charge of product trial run project planning (materials, labors, equipment) and provide proposals

·         Implement supplier and vendor management procedure, and in charge of sourcing materials from different vendors and provide procurement strategy

·         Support PD Officer for TPM and lean manufacturing tasks

·         Support QA department for annual GMP audit preparation and CAPA implementation

·         Ad hoc as necessary

 

Qualification

Education & Work Experience:

·         University, colleague degree or equivalent

·         2+ years of production planning experience and Excel syntax preferred

·         Excellent organizing skills

·         Knowledge of SAP is a plus

·         Bilingual of English and Chinese is a plus

 

Skills & Personality:

·         Planning: Apply different tools on MPS and materials planning to ensure accuracy and minimize changes

·         Data Maintenance: Use SAP to maintain database including materials, MOQ, pricing, BOM, and routings

·         Supply Chain: Knowledge of materials procurement and manufacturing workflows

·         Proactively submit and follow up tasks on time, and ensure SAP database is up-to-date

·         Problem investigation and solving experience and knowledge

·         Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and SAP
