Job Purpose

To ensure the upkeep of business facilities, premises, and equipment.

 

Responsibilities

Machinery & System Related:

·         Inspection, maintain, calibrate and troubleshooting of plant machinery system, facility & equipment

·         Carry out installation of works, facility, automation system and utility equipment

·         Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate proposals for improving equipment performance

·         Provide technical specification for equipment /machine purchasing, support procurement for technical clarification

·         Draft and harmonize qualification protocol of process equipment, and perform qualification test according to qualification protocol

·         Prepare “User Requirement Specification" for required equipment installation 

Outside Service & Training

·         Supervise, coordinate, and contact contractors/vendors and be responsible for the quality control of contractor/vendor’s service to ensure the service complies with expectation

·         Discuss changes in design, method of manufacture and assembly, and drafting techniques and procedures with staff and coordinate corrections

·         Train production workers on maintaining & operating machines

 

Qualification

Education & Work Experience:

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         2+ years of maintenance experience preferred

 

Skills & Personality:

·         Operation Monitoring: Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly

·         Mechanical: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance

·         Inductive Reasoning: The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events)

·         Judgment & Decision Making: Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one

·         Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems
