Position Summary

Join the cutting-edge Product team at Ionna as our Marketing & Communications Sr. Manager and embark on a mission to revolutionize the charging customer experience in North America. Are you a seasoned marketing and communications manager with a knack for crafting impactful strategies and campaigns? We're seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial self-starter with expertise in amplifying a strong public brand and strategic player in the industry, while also managing various key internal and external stakeholder relationships. In this role, you'll drive the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies, leveraging your strategic insights and creative prowess to propel our organization towards success. 

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Lead the development of holistic marketing and communications strategies aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging your expertise in policy and advocacy to craft messaging and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and action. 
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring they are targeted, impactful, and aligned with both business and policy goals. 
  • Partnership Management: Serve as a strong manager of internal and external partners, fostering collaborative relationships to support marketing and communications objectives. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment. 
  • Entrepreneurial Presence: Possess a strong entrepreneurial presence and communication skills, representing the organization effectively in external-facing initiatives, including media engagements, thought leadership opportunities, and events. 
  • PR Strategy and Media Relations: Demonstrate proficiency in PR strategies, media relations, and thought leadership initiatives. Develop and execute media outreach plans, cultivate relationships with key media contacts, and secure earned media coverage to enhance organizational visibility. 
  • Support of Business and Policy Goals: Drive the achievement of business and policy goals through effective marketing and communications initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights and analytics to measure and optimize performance. 
  • Content Creation and Branding: Leverage your expertise in writing, integrated marketing communications, and content creation to develop compelling messaging and content across various channels. Ensure brand consistency and adherence to messaging guidelines. 
  • Event Strategy: Lead the development of event strategies and oversee the execution of events to support marketing and communications objectives. Coordinate logistics, manage event vendors, budgets, and ensure seamless execution. 
  • Budget Management and Team Leadership: Manage marketing and communications budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to execute strategies and campaigns with excellence. 
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing and communications efforts. Provide regular reporting and insights to inform decision-making and optimization strategies. 

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree: in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field. Master's degree preferred. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, EV, charging, energy, retail, experience a plus. 
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing budgets. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and engage diverse stakeholders. 
  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies and campaigns. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
