Position Summary

Are you ready to be a crucial part of Ionna’s Deployment Team? We're looking for a detail-oriented professional to join us in crafting technical and commercial field service engineering proposals.

 

Responsibilities

  • Managing tasks for engineering and planning studies related to EV Charging Layouts.

  • Performing Scope of Work Review, such as review design, and support site planning during construction processes.

  • Preparing conceptual layouts and equipment schedules that are accurate, feasible, and fully incorporate IONNAs EV Equipment planning strategy for:

    o Predictable / guaranteed charging speeds across varied utility interconnection processes by helping to alleviate equipment detail, design and layout challenges.

  • Preparing Single Line Drawings to support a nationwide EV Charging Program through:

    o Evolving Equipment Standards documents to define configuration variences between EV Charger counts, Switchboard configurations, Utility sizing, and breaker ratings.

  • Support the development of the following,

    o Plan drawings such as grounding plans, distribution plans etc.

    o Single Line diagrams and equipment Schedules

    o Panel Layouts and Equipment layouts and sectional views

    o Bill of Materials and Cable Schedules

    o Basis of design documents related to EV Equipment

    o Supporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioning

    o Occasional travel to client or project site

 

Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years engineering/project management/field service experience in transmission and/or distribution products, or equivalent 
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills in order to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts. 
  • Fundamentals of engineering (FE) certification
