Position Summary

The EV Interoperability Engineer will play a critical role in performing hardware and firmware validation of IONNA’s Charging Technology. The Engineer will test charging infrastructure and lead firmware validation, regression, and release testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hardware and firmware validation of IONNA Charging Technology
  • Work with EV charging partners to debug firmware features
  • Develop test plans and procedures to validate functionality
  • Develop and maintain automated firmware tests
  • Support charging technology partners to improve the charging experience
  • Lead firmware validation, regression, and release testing
  • Lead the test plan execution for new products with continuous feedback for new hardware revisions
  • Work with charging technology partners to debug, fix hardware and firmware issues

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering related field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience
  • 2+ years of experience in firmware and software validation
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product
  • Must be comfortable with hands-on lab work
  • System level engineering experience with electrical and mechanical systems
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and root cause issues
  • Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail
