Position Summary

The EV Interoperability Engineer will play a critical role in performing hardware and firmware validation of IONNA’s Charging Technology. The Engineer will test charging infrastructure and lead firmware validation, regression, and release testing.

Responsibilities

Perform hardware and firmware validation of IONNA Charging Technology
Work with EV charging partners to debug firmware features
Develop test plans and procedures to validate functionality
Develop and maintain automated firmware tests
Support charging technology partners to improve the charging experience
Lead firmware validation, regression, and release testing
Lead the test plan execution for new products with continuous feedback for new hardware revisions
Work with charging technology partners to debug, fix hardware and firmware issues

Skills and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in engineering related field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience
2+ years of experience in firmware and software validation
Hands-on experience with electrical and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product
Must be comfortable with hands-on lab work
System level engineering experience with electrical and mechanical systems
Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and root cause issues
Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail
