Role Summary
We’re seeking an engaging, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Brand Ambassador to bring the IONNA experience to life across dealerships, driver communities, and key markets. In this role, you’ll lead EV education and customer engagement programs that help new and returning EV drivers better understand charging, network reliability, and the partnership behind IONNA’s eight automakers.
You’ll host EV education days and dealership training sessions, working directly with sales teams and customers to build EV knowledge and create positive experiences with the IONNA brand. Through hands-on training and field research, you’ll gather insights from dealerships, sales floors, and drivers, translating those learnings into actionable feedback for Marketing team.
As a visible representative of IONNA, you’ll also support local events and community activations, helping drive EV adoption in priority markets while ensuring every interaction reflects our professionalism, hospitality, and brand promise.
Mission
Drive utilization through dealership activation
Key Performance Indicators
- Utilization Lift: Increase in charging sessions driven by trained dealership referrals.
- NPS: Dealer & Partner Satisfaction - Feedback scores from dealership staff and OEM partner contacts.
- Program Rollout Pace: On-time execution of training and marketing activations across the planned market circuit.
Key Responsibilities
Dealership Training & Enablement
- Lead in-person training sessions for dealership sales teams across OEM partner networks, covering EV charging fundamentals, IONNA's network reliability, and how to position charging as part of the sales conversation.
- Deliver OEM-specific training content and materials tailored to each partner's dealership programs, working from individually built training decks per OEM rather than a single master deck.
- Travel to dealership markets on a recurring basis to conduct on-site training days, ensuring consistent knowledge transfer and confidence among dealership sales staff.
- Serve as the go-to resource for dealership teams' questions on IONNA's product, charging process, and partnership value proposition.
Dealer Marketing Program Execution
- Execute the dealer marketing program across assigned OEM partner markets, coordinating logistics, materials, and on-site activation with dealership staff.
- Partner with the internal brand and creative team to ensure dealership-facing marketing assets (signage, collateral, training materials) are deployed correctly and consistently at each location.
- Support scheduling and coordination of training and activation visits across dealership markets, including multi-city travel circuits.
- Track and report on program execution status, dealership engagement, and training completion across OEM partners.
Field Insights & Program Improvement
- Gather feedback directly from dealership sales teams and customers on the training experience, charging process, and marketing materials.
- Synthesize field findings into actionable insights that guide improvements to training content, dealer marketing materials, and program structure.
- Flag gaps in materials, process, or scope back to the brand and OEM partnership teams, since programs are built and refined from the ground up per partner.
Hospitality & Representation
- Serve as the public face of IONNA within dealership environments, ensuring dealership staff and partners feel supported and professionally hosted.
- Represent the brand confidently in person and, when needed, on camera or in partner-facing communications.
- Support site openings, dealership clinics, and small-scale activations tied to the dealer marketing program.
OEM & Industry Engagement (Growth Area)
- Build relationships with OEM dealership contacts, regional managers, and partner marketing teams across the program's markets.
- Act as a knowledgeable, consistent presence across OEM partners, strengthening IONNA's credibility within dealership networks.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales training, dealership/field enablement, brand representation, or related roles.
- Proven experience designing and delivering in-person training to sales teams or dealership staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences.
- Highly organized, with experience managing multi-market travel schedules, training logistics, and materials coordination.
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time to support dealership training and activations across multiple markets.
Preferred
- Background working directly with OEMs, automotive dealerships, or EV infrastructure organizations.
- Prior experience in a field trainer, sales enablement, or dealership-facing role within automotive or a related industry.
- Established network within the EV/automotive dealership space.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a polished, field-oriented brand ambassador with experience training dealership sales teams, leading customer education, and representing a brand in relationship-driven environments. They understand automotive retail, EV charging, or complex technology adoption and know how to build confidence with partners, sales teams, and customers.
They bring ownership, urgency, and sound judgment in the field—able to simplify EV charging topics, adapt messaging by OEM partner and audience, and turn field feedback into practical recommendations for Marketing, Product, and partnership teams.
Strong-fit backgrounds may include dealership training, OEM field marketing, sales enablement, EV charging, experiential marketing, hospitality-led brand representation, or customer education roles.
