Property Operations Operator Intern

 

Role Description

Drive Site Operations mission by supporting leasing, utilities, and licensure procedures while facilitating process improvements. The role has a unique ability to cross functionally work with all various departments to really dive into the breath of building out a company to its operational success. This role offers a thrilling opportunity to collaborate across diverse departments, diving deep into the dynamic journey of expanding the company towards operational excellence. Role Attributes

  • Assist with ingestion, organization, and tracking of lease agreements and related documents
  • Aid in the setup, management, and billing of utilities for new and existing properties
  • Provide assistance with preparing, filing, and tracking business license applications and renewals to ensure all properties meet required compliance standards
  • Maintain accurate and organized operational records within internal systems
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows and suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with site operations, deployment, finance, and legal teams to gather necessary information, resolve questions, and support smooth operational workflows
  • Monitor and drive Deployment to Site Operations handoffs
  • Other duties as needed

 

Role Expectations

  • Ability to synthesize complex information and deliver insights to the team
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent collaborative team player
  • Well-versed in analytics and presentation tools including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as we scale up the business
  • Salesforce, Zendesk, Monday.com experience is a plus but not a requirement

 

Education/Experience Expectations

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelors or Masters) preferably Finance, Legal, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Coursework involving data analysis, document management, business operations, etc.
  • No prior work experience required; this is an entry-level internship designed to provide hands-on learning.
  • Strong interest in property operations, project management, site management & business compliance lease agreements.
  • Any previous exposure to start-up environments or face-paced workplaces is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Must be onsite at our Durham HQ during work hours
