How BrightBee Works: You’ll be an essential part of our dynamic workforce as an independent contractor, ready to respond and commute to on-site work opportunities at nearby K-12 schools and nonprofits via the BrightBee app. You’ll be able to pick which work assignments match your experience, preferences, and schedule and will never have to take on an assignment that you don’t feel is a fit for you.
We are looking for:
A Home Visit Specialist! They will conduct home visits to identify barriers, disseminate information, and strengthen relationships between families, schools, and students. The home visit specialist work is guided by the Concentric Educational Solutions Home Visit Framework.
“Our framework takes the punity out of responding to student needs. The home visit specialist’s responsibility is to conduct in-person home visits and act as a liaison between the family and school-based personnel.’
Must Haves:
- Ability to drive personal vehicle both within Ypsilanti area.
- Availability to complete two (up to 6 hour) shifts per week, generally on evenings (no later than 8pm) and on weekends.
- Must attend 2 hr virtual training and will be provided a mentor on first home visit session (aka “ride along”)
- Preferred Qualification: Prior teaching, social work, or psychology background
