About the Opportunity

We are hiring Intervention Specialists in the Reynoldsburg, OH area to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs across K–12 settings.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver individualized and small-group instruction to students with IEPs
  • Support students academically, behaviorally, socially, and emotionally
  • Implement accommodations, modifications, and intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Track student progress and maintain documentation aligned to IEP goals
  • Help create safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environments
  • Support students through transitions, emotional regulation, and daily routines

What We’re Looking For

  • Candidates with valid Ohio Teaching License and willingness to obtain Ohio Intervention Specialist license 
  • Preferred experience includes:
    • Supporting students on the autism spectrum
    • Behavioral intervention/de-escalation
    • Multiple Disabilities (MD)
    • Functional or life-skills instruction
    • Classroom or 1:1 student support

The Process (it's simple!)

  • Qualified candidates will have a phone call to discuss the role and ensure it's right for you
  • We will then follow up with a 20-30 minute video interview 
  • Finalists will be recommended to Reynoldsburg to then hire on full time for the 2026-2027 school year

Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

Technical Requirement: You must have a smartphone with a compatible operating system (Apple or Android). As an independent contractor, you are required to enable location services while using the BrightBee app. This allows for automated check-ins to verify your presence at school sites and is used to facilitate your payments.
