The Job

We’re hiring for cleaners and custodians in the North Ridgeville, OH area. In these roles, you’ll help keep school buildings clean, safe, and running smoothly for students, teachers, and staff.

These assignments will primarily support summer needs with strong potential for ongoing work:

Cleaner Shifts (Flexible / Part-Time & Full-Time Options):

  • Monday – Friday
  • 4-hour shifts: 7:00a – 11:00a
  • 8-hour shifts: Start between 6:30a–7:00a, ending around 3:00p–4:00p

Cleaners will be assigned specific areas and follow a checklist to complete daily tasks. This is great for folks who like structured, independent work.

Custodian Roles (Consistent / Higher Responsibility):

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00a – 3:30p (full-day, consistent schedule)

Custodians are responsible for the full building and grounds, including opening/closing, overseeing cleanliness, and maintaining the overall environment. These roles require strong reliability and are intended for consistent, long-term placement.

👉 This is great side-gig or full-time opportunity work and may turn into long-term or permanent opportunities based on performance!

🚨 Looking ahead: North Ridgeville is also expected to need paraprofessionals in the fall, with potential earlier opportunities if needs arise.

Applicants must undergo a background check, adhere to a code of conduct, and comply with all mandated reporter training and reporting requirements. Prior to working with students, you will need to pass a background check, livescan and may need to obtain other necessary testing/clearances and provide us with authorization to contact former employers. Rest assured, we will guide you through the process!

Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
