Upcoming in 2026: Long-Term Contract for Afterschool Student Support Specialist with Boys & Girl's Club of The Low Country

Our goal is to help schools succeed and give workers the tools and support they need to grow in their careers.

This Opportunity:

We are expanding our South Carolina opportunities down to The Low Country! We are partnering with the Boys and Girls Club there to place awesome individuals to support k-12 students in a variety of ways. Assignments will be typically from 3:00-6:00p. The assignment details will always be in the BrightBee App so you will always know what each assignment entails. We are expecting these assignments with BGC of The Low Country to be student support/camp counselor style. We Also expect there to be some food handling for student participants too.

Please note: This is a possible opportunity in 2026. We are actively gathering interest from folks that would be open to:

6-12 month long contract
M-F, available between the hours of 1-6p
Regular work, possible extension & placement!

Must Haves:

A high school diploma or GED is required.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and team members.
Fun, focused on safety, loves supporting students, and the BGC mission for producing healthy and productive citizens of tomorrow.
Comfortable working in diverse school communities and supporting individuals from a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
