We Are Looking For:
Join our new partner in South Carolina, Acceleration Academies, and support students who are earning their high school diploma in a flexible, personalized program. As a Student Success Coach/Graduation Candidate Advocate, you’ll mentor young adults, help them stay on track academically, and be their go-to support person throughout their journey.
- Compensation: $20/hour
- Schedule: M–F, 9:30–5:30pm EST
- On-site: 5935 Rivers Ave, Suite 101-A, North Charleston, SC 29406
What You’ll Do:

Welcome new students and guide them through enrollment and orientation.

Support a caseload of students—monitor attendance, check in regularly, and reach out when needed (texts, calls, home visits).

Help with student recruitment and community outreach.

Provide one-on-one academic support and track student progress in our online systems.

Work closely with our student support team to keep learners engaged and moving forward.

Handle light daily operations (phones, records, event support).

Be an advocate—connect students to resources and staff when they need extra support.
What You Need:
- Bilingual (Spanish) Required

Associate degree (or education equivalent) or a passing ParaPro exam.

1–3 years working with youth, case management, or educational support.

Strong communication, relationship-building, and flexibility.

Comfortable using tech and learning systems.

Passion for helping students who’ve disengaged re-connect and succeed.
The Hiring Process:

15-20 minute phone interview with BrightBee recruitment team member

Hand off to Acceleration Academies where candidates will have 3 rounds of interviews with key stakeholders

Upon offer, candidate will remain a 1099 contractor for a 30-45 day period and begin with Acceleration Academies

After the trial period, candidates will officially onboard with Acceleration as a Full Time Employe
BrightBee centers child safety at the core of its work. Applicants must undergo background checks, training, and supervision.
Please note, assignments may require the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
