General Responsibilities:
- Content strategy – collaborate with creative, marketing, and graphic design partners to ideate and define content goals.
- Content calendar – develop, manage, and drive timely execution.
- Content optimization – collaborate with SEO, SEM, and SMO experts to ensure top search rankings and click through rates for new and existing content.
- Research – execute and support market and competitive analyses to ensure content address targeted customer trends that is relevant and appealing. Ensure content “speaks” to the right audience.
- Content creation – work independently and with subject matter experts and design, marketing, videography, and copywriting partners to concept, write, maintain, and monitor content for both digital and print. Examples include the website, landing pages, social media, blogs, case studies, whitepapers, videos, sales collateral, newsletters, and email marketing.
- Monitor social media channels to develop compelling posts in collaboration with agency partners that help promote and position Goddard as thought leaders.
- Track content engagement analytics and benchmarks to monitor effectiveness and influence strategy for future content development. Report to leadership periodically.
- Support events (e.g., tradeshows, conferences, client meetings) by providing content and assisting with coordination, as requested.
- Update and maintain office content, such as the product showcases, employee spotlights, CV updates, pitch decks, onboarding guides, and newsletters.
- Keep up to date with best practices in writing for the web, social media, and B2B sales enablement.
Requirements:
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and to meet milestones.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively work with resources at all levels both within Goddard and with external partners.
- Ability to work independently and self-prioritize, with limited direction when necessary.
- Proficiency with Google, Adobe, and Office product suites.
- Photography expertise and light graphic design experience is preferred.
- CRM platform familiarity (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) is preferred.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, journalism, writing, design, business, creative writing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience; B2B experience in a product development consultancy, CDMO, or CRMO involved in medical devices, life science, industrial automation and/or robotics is preferred.
- Location: Within driving distance of Beverly, MA. 2+ days in the office is required.
