Business Development Manager, Platform Group

Description

Uhnder’s Radar Sensor BDM will drive rapid growth for the Platform Group, helping us find, acquire, and manage customers in different robotics and autonomous vehicle application spaces. You will work with a team of field application engineers and other experts to clearly convey Uhnder’s value proposition, and you will establish and mature customer relationships for the purpose of securing long-term design wins and commercial engagement.

Responsibilities

·        Execute prospecting campaigns to engage new robotics and autonomous vehicle customers

·        Clearly communicate Uhnder’s value proposition to technical/non-technical customers

·        Manage communications with Uhnder applications staff and technical/non-technical customers

·        Develop long-term relationships with key technical/non-technical decision-makers

·        Effectively bring the voice of the customer inside Uhnder

·        Travel 25-50% as needed (domestic US, primarily eastern and central states)

Required Qualifications

·        BSEE or equivalent

·        5+ years of experience: some in engineering roles, some technical sales/BDM positions

·        Hardware, software, and systems engineering experience, including RF, mmW, and radar

·        Sales and business development experience, including prospecting, account management, account planning, running meetings, and using CRM and other tools to track engagements

·        Experience leading commercial negotiations and managing ongoing customer programs

·        Self-starter, strong communicator, internally motivated, hard charger

Ideal Qualifications

·        MSEE or equivalent

·        7+ years of experience in the ADAS/AV sensor space; existing customer contacts

·        Radar-specific product development or application support experience

·        Experience with ROS, perception stacks, sensors (camera, lidar, radar)
