Uhnder has developed the world’s first digital Radar-on-Chip (RoC). Sensors, based on Uhnder’s Digital Code Modulation (DCM) technology, achieve new and unprecedented levels of performance for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving solutions. Founded in 2015, its main engineering operations center is in Austin, Texas, USA with design facilities in India and China.
As the Controller, you will join a team of industry experts spanning mixed-signal, RF, digital, systems and software experts to develop the next generation of electronics surrounding us and impacting us in our everyday lives. In partnership with the VP of Finance, you will play a key role in developing the financial infrastructure to support this fast-paced growth business for years to come. You are a self-starter with a solid understanding of GAAP as well as a passion and track record for developing processes, implementing systems and reporting financial data. With plans to transition from an outsourced financial support model using Quickbooks to an ERP based internal model, you will have the opportunity to craft processes and procedures for which you have responsibility.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Ownership of full scope accounting and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Establish, monitor and enforce internal controls, financial processes and procedures
- Manage relationship and activities with external auditors
- Cash flow management
- Compliance with country, federal, state and local financial reporting and filing requirements
- Debt reporting compliance
- Maintain monthly, quarterly and annual forecast updates, perform variance analysis, and issue functional and consolidated reporting
- Serve as the finance lead on financial system implementations
- Manage equity transactions and reporting
- Supervise, manage, develop and retain supporting accounting staff
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
- 5-10 years progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role
- Professional accounting certification, including CPA, CMA, or CA
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong understanding of banking processes and cash flow
